EDAPHI-GenMH. Automatic MHH model generator
GCuencas was conceived to save time in the generation of hydrological models, delimiting sub-basins that drain to a set of points, as well as defining the main river reaches of these sub-basins and the reaches that connect points. Sub-basins and reaches thus have a geographical definition which is complemented by the calculation of a set of characteristic parameters of hydrological interest.
GenMH is a further step in the automation of the process, since, based on the previous results, it provides a preliminary version of a complete MHH model. This model, which has the associated Hec-HMS model, will serve as a preliminary version. The next step will be, once the revisions and corrections that may be necessary have been made, to proceed with the calibration with historical data
